I left my pup here while I went on vacation with my partner, and I can honestly say this is the best dog hotel I could have chosen. From the moment we dropped him off, they kept us updated with regular photos, videos, and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. They were always quick to respond and incredibly communicative.

It was clear that my pup was genuinely happy and well cared for throughout his stay. He was treated like part of the family, and it really shows how much love and dedication goes into what they do. This is a fantastic family-run business, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We’ll definitely be bringing our pup back in the future!

I cannot recommend highly enough. Dominic and his family are superb with my retreiver and my boyfriends two schnauzers. My retreiver took some serious persuading to leave last time! We looked long and hard to find a home from home for our 'children' and find one we did! Book with 100% confidence.
UPDATE:
Three years later and many months in total of our furry children staying with Dom and we are still very happy with Shelton dogs. If it is the odd day out, long weekend or a long holiday you're looking for, then look no further. Unlike others, Dom is flexible with dates until flights/tickets are booked etc, but make sure you book in as soon as you can as this is a popular and top rated home from home.
Yes, someone else really can love and take care of our babies as well as we do ourselves!

We have used a number of kennels over the years but I can honestly say Shelton Dogs is by far the best, and a real home from home for our dog Hugo. Dominic has a real understanding of dogs and Hugos needs are always catered for I especially like the way the dogs mix and play with each other and he's always excited when we drop him off. We recieve regular photos which makes it a really personal service and gives us peace of mind. I can highly recommend Shelton Dogs.

Photos are always sent to me showing how settled and happy my fur baby is. Great service.

My two doggies absolutely love every minute that they both spend at Shelton Dogs. I am so lucky and been blessed that I have 

the pleasure of my two cockapoos being loved and looked after and cared for by such wonderful people. Dominic, Carmen and 

Marcus are absolutely amazing in every way. I am sent what app photos and videos every day and night they stay. If a rating could 

be higher than 5 I would definitely rate this top marks 100 out of 5 and Would recommend this business to any dog owner first class facilities they are walked and cared for so well inside a beautiful home. I can’t thank you all enough for all the help you give to

A happy experience!!!

We have used Shelton Dogs for a number of years our 2 fur babies love it there, every time they see Dominic they get really excited thinking they are going with him. Dominic is brilliant with the dogs and while we are away sends some lovely photos and updates on our fur babies enjoying themselves. A fantastic service keep it up!!!!!

Wouldn't take him anywhere else.

Have been taking our dog Toby to Doms for a few years now and wouldn't take him anywhere else.

Shelton Dogs was a great find.

 Recommended by a neighbour a few years ago and we have never looked back. Home from home with lovely fields out the back garden. Dom always responds very quickly to messages and when we are away we get lots of picture updates. So impressed my parents and my daughter use Shelton Dogs now.  I call Dominic the dog whisperer! 
Our 2yr old Saluki Sonny has stayed with Dominic twice now. Each time he calmly walks with whoever takes his lead, Dominic or Marcus. This is not what’s he’s like at home when he can react nervously with some men. Sonny doesn’t even look back! I can now totally relax when leaving Sonny and know that he’s having a fun break. Dominic sends lots of pictures so we can see what he’s getting up to and who he’s playing with. I call Dominic the dog whisperer! Add to all this the excellent prices, an invaluable service.

We have used Sheltondogs twice now for our little pug ( Patrick) He has the most wonderful time at Sheltondogs. We was kept updated to how he was getting on. We wouldn’t leave him any where else. This family business are very reasonably priced, where a lot of people I have used in the past charge per a day, they charge per a night at very affordable prices.

 I love going there
I’m am an year old yorkie and I’ve been staying with Dominic from very young. I love going there. I visited for a five night stay recently for the new year and had the best time. I had lots of fun with my friends and didn’t want to go home. Mums real fussy where I stay and this is the only place she would let me stay over night. I’ll be visiting lots this year and can’t wait.
